What kind of salary should a CNA and a LPN make, and is it better to work at a hospital or nursing home?

I am a CNA right now and I will be going on to LPN this spring. I have not worked anywhere yet so I have only clinical experience and I was woundering what kind of salary I should expect to recieve as a CNA and what I should expect as a LPN. I was also wandering if it is better to work at a hospital or a nursing home. I was really wanting to work at a hospital but I have been told it's better to work at a nursing home at least for LPN's. I really liked caring for the residents at the nursing home I did my clinicals, but I have always been told that ppl are under paid at nursing homes, and I want to make the most salary available for my profession.
