I found a communist flag and communist propaganda in my child's bedroom!!!?

I was cleaning my 16 year old son Gerald's room and I found under his bed a communist flag, and several pro-communist books and propaganda. I knocked his computer mouse over with my elbow while cleaning and the monitor of the computer opened up and i saw historical articles on internet explorer and he was recieving IMs from someone named RedRainbowBoy or RedRainbwGuy was asking him if he was planning on registering with the American communist party at 18!! I dont know what to do as my husband is a local politician and we cant have our son being a communist. Help?
