What is exhaust drone?

Hard to explain but you have to have dual exhaust to get the droning effect and that is mainly caused by cheap mufflers, good matched muffers wont drone. Pretty much the mufflers make different sou ds through out the rpm range but there soo close to the sound it makes waves/ off and on beats between them. Its easier to sound it out than explain good luck
