Air Force BMT lengthening?

I leave on 4 Nov. 2008 for boot camp. I have been told to prepare for 8.5 weeks but then I was told only some of the flights are changing because the Air Force doesn't have a large enough budget to change all of the flights at once. I was just wondering if anyone has heard any news on this if it will be 8.5 weeks for everyone, or only certain flights because what I hear keeps switching. Thank you!
