Can Parakeets Eat Honey Roasted Deli Turkey?

i read in a book called a guide to a happy healthy pet parakeets that you need to feed your parakeets 50% seed, 45% veggies ( i use carrots), and 5% protein which then it listed cottage cheese, low fat cheese, fully cooked eggs and fully cooked meats.it recommended scrambled eggs for the egg choice and i tried it today but they didn't even touch it even though they liked the newly introduced carrots so i have some fully cooked meat which is the deli turkey so i want to know if honey roasted deli turkey will work and if it will poison them because my other parakeets Benny and Tyler recently died a year ago and i think it might be because we didn't use the veggies and protein we only used kaytee fiesta brand food. so i don't want Banana, Angelique, Lemon and Napoleon to die of the same cause i really need this answer quick!!!!! by the way i am 11 yrs old so i our 'keets die because someone doesn't answer quick enough we cant get money to buy another parakeet aka budgerigars
