Is there anyone who agrees with me on black gloves with an ivory wedding dress?

Every one of my friends say that they will kill me if I wear them on my wedding day. I personally think it will be hard to match ivory with ivory. I really like the black gloves though. And I thought it would be easier to match. On the other hand I don't have any black in the wedding dress itself I thought of putting a black broach or rose on the top part of it since it is sleeveless. But I really don't want have to cover any of my dress.
