What headphones should I get?

I need some new headphones, I like pure definition and just "power", I listen to hard rock, metal, some heavy metal, and screamo. I don't want them to sound like i'm listening to music coming out of a box, I want to be able to close me eyes and basically feel the music, sound leakage isn't to much of an issue to me, I'm spending $300 maximum, i'm thinking the dr dre monster beats studio's, and sony mdr7509, What should I get?
