Which State do you think is behind the most in race relations?

I am from Louisiana and I feel that it is one if not the most racially behind states. When I say racially behind I mean like if you see a white and black person hanging out it seems a little odd. There are more scenarios but I don't feel like mentioning. I just wanted to see if other people had any imput. Thanks!
