Looking for a compact but solid 9mm with a big grip for carry.?

I have long fingers & my hands wrap too far around the grip of some of the compacts so I am looking for something with a good sized grip. I have handled, but not fired, a Sig P229 and H&K USP (not sure which one) and both felt comfortable. I fired a Glock 17, which was very ergonomic, but felt a little too light. I also fired a Springfield XD, but the casing failed to fully eject a couple times. I know it's probably user error though. I am only looking at 9mm's and I would like to find something that is reliable, relatively accurate, has low recoil, & doesn't need to be cleaned too often. I have been looking closer at the Sig P229, P229DAK, P239, & P239DAK, H&K P2000, P2000SK, P30, & USP Compact, Para Hawg, Hawg Lite, & Carry 9, and the Smith & Wesson 908, although I have not been able to actually handle many of these yet. Due to my job, I cannot take it with me to work, but it will be used for carry when I go out at night. Any thoughts on the dozen I mentioned or any others?
